Sunday’s have become fashion days. We all take time to dress for church. And then weather dependent. Photos. I love these moments for the many reasons. Yes, of course the fashion part. But mostly? The bonding piece. Small moments I get to spend with my girls. It’s only a snippet of time. But you get a glimpse into our lives. Our interactions. We don’t dress FOR photos. We dress for ourselves. You get to see real life fashion on real life people. Not models. Not staged. Mostly us just goofing around in our town. Hopefully I can give you some real life insight on what works, what doesn’t and how to pull it all together. My girls? They’re naturals. Stick around, ok? Fashion days shall continue!

Tahlia has always been my little fashionista. From her Discovery Girl days with tutus and sparkles to a girl who exudes confidence in her look. She loves pulling it together. And always with attitude. She knows exactly how she wants something to look, but not in an obsessive way. I adore her laid back style!
It’s crazy to see certain fashion items come back around. Her acid washed jeans that are HIGH RISE and converse. They are truly ageless. The coat was a necessity in the morning, but it really pulls the outfit together. And her little sweater knot lifted the sweater a bit to go with the high rise jeans and became almost cropped…almost. We’re still pretty conservative over here 🙂 The funnies part is when she threw the leaves. The sweater rose up and surprised her! As you can see we DO have a lot of fun.
It’s no surprise how much I love dresses. They are fun. Flirty. Feminine. And I get to wear boots again…All.The.Time. I fell in love with this dress the instant I saw it. As my Isabel would say, “that’s totally a mom dress”. Flowy sleeves. Cut outs. And something that ties. Am I really THAT predictable? Now that I’ve seen the photos I realize I needed a layering slip or tights. It’s a bit too short for my over 40 self. Next time.

But let me tell you about this trench!!! It came from LeTote. My new obsession. They send you a box of clothes. You wear said clothes. Love something. Keep it. Done with it? Send it back. Dirty. Not stained. But worn. Yes, seriously. I’m obsessed. I actually have 5 free totes to giveaway. If you are interested. Leave me a comment below and I’ll hook you up! No obligation to buy. None. Questions? Message me. I’m all about giving you the honest real deal info.
Much much love, lisa

LeTote sounds interesting. Is it a similar concept to stitchfix?
i never have liked anything I saw from StitchFix. LeTote actually gives you the option to select what’s in your tote. and you can wear it and send it back. That’s my favorite part!
Nice. Stitch fix always came up short for me too. I will check this out. Thanks. ?

I would be interested in one of the LeTote codes to give it a try. Thanks.

Love this! Makes me want to go do a shoot with my daughter <3
you should! it’s so much fun!
Love both looks and what a beautiful day for taking pics outside. My favorite though is the surprised look!
i know right? so cute and fun!! thanks for stopping by!
Very cool – how does it compare to stichfix? Sounds awesome because we live sof at away from most major stores. Lol!
I am not a fan of stitch fix. I love this style much more, and you get to choose. AND you can wear it and send it back. So for me that’s a total win!
